This guy looks really calm, but actually, it was a really disturbing moment, seeing him. He was in this tiny tank, just sitting still. When I got close to the tank for a photo, he backed up, open his mouth, and ran into the tank full force, his body writhing. He did this continually, backing up and slamming, wide-mouthed, into the the glass, as I walked away. Water was sloshing out of the tank. I’ve never seen a fish with emotion before, especially not suicidal/homicidal rage.
